The Better Weight Loss Plan – Planning Being Key

Having a plan ensures that you know how you will achieve your goals. Whether it is a weekly
meal plan for the household or a project to be rolled-out and implemented in the office, it pays to
plan your activities and work towards your goal. So it really shouldn’t be any different when you
want to lose weight. Here are items you can start with to include in your plan.

1. Know how much weight and body fat to lose. It best to consult a professional on this so he
or she can tell you how many pounds is safe for you to lose on a weekly basis.

2. Have an exercise routine. If you choose to work with a personal trainer, he or she will
create this for you. However, if you prefer to do it on your own, do research well and prepare
your routine.

3. Make the right food choices. Eating the right food will not only keep the weight off but
also keep you healthy. Swap sugary treats for fruits and fried food for those which are grilled or
boiled.

4. Reward yourself. You should not deprive yourself of food you enjoy so have them once in a
while. Assign yourself a cheat day once a week.

5. Be patient with yourself. You will always encounter set-backs in your plan so don’t get
frustrated if you encounter one. If you skip one work-out day or couldn’t help eating a slice of
your favorite cake, don’t beat yourself up! Just continue to stick to your weight loss plan.

6. Have a support system. Surround yourself with people who have the same goal as
you. Having other’s support and encouragement will keep you motivated.

Weight loss can be very challenging. However, if you truly commit to yourself and follow these
tips, then you should be on your way to a healthier new you.
